The 400 Club

The 400 Club was set up in 1996 to help provide funds for the ‘Save Our Speedway’ campaign. The campaign, which was supported both by the then MP Jamie Cann and the Ipswich Evening Star, helped to ensure the continuance of speedway at Foxhall when it looked as if crippling stadium rent increases would force the club to close. The 400 Club continues to provide the club with valuable financial help with 50% of the income received being donated to the S.O.S. fund.

Members pay a monthly payment of £5 either by cash or standing order. The monthly draw currently pays out a first prize of £260. There are also six consolation prizes of £27.
