Ales Makes Home Debut On Thursday

30 year old Czech Republic rider, Ales Dryml, will make his Foxhall debut on Thursday in the Elite League 'A' fixture against Wolverhampton. Having narrowly lost out to the Wolves 43-46 in the April Knock Out Cup meeting, Witches fans will be hoping that Dryml can weigh in with a decent points return against a team which looks to be one of the main contenders for a place in the play-offs. Wolves will certainly be a strong test for the Witches with GP stars Freddie Lindgren and Tai Woffinden and the flying Nikolai Klindt forming a formidable spearhead. They also include Adam Skornicki, returned to fitmess after his early season knee problems and they have British Under 21 champion Joe Haines at reserve.

Ipswich team boss Pete Simmons said: “I’m glad we’ve got Linus Sundstrom back in the line-up but we can’t rely on a reserve top scoring for us. We have to make good starts in the early heats – we certainly don’t want to be playing catch-up after 5 or 6 races. As far as I’m concerned, the only thing I’m interested in tomorrow is a win – by however many points”.
