Busy Week For Witches

Ipswich Witches face a hectic race schedule this week with three matches in as many days. On Wednesday they travel to the south coast to take on runaway league leaders the Poole Pirates while on Friday they face the Coventry Bees who are possibly rejuvenated after their shock away win at Swindon on Monday.

Thursday’s home meeting at Foxhall Stadium is a local derby with the Lakeside Hammers who are no doubt smarting after the Witches managed to nick an away point at their track last week. Since then Lakeside have wielded the axe and released Krzysztof Kasprzak in order to bring Lee Richardson back into their lineup. Claus Vissing will be missing on Thursday as he is riding in the Danish championship semi finals so we will operate rider replacement at number 3.
