2009 - The tenacious Dane sustained a broken collarbone when Peterborough entertained Lakeside on 2 April 2009. He was temporarily replaced by Karol Zabik but regained fitness and his team place in May. His first appearance at Foxhall was on May Bank Holiday when the Witches recovered from being 9-21 down at one stage to record a dramatic 48-45 victory with a last heat 5-1. On that day Claus scored 11 points from 7 rides. He was unable to obtain a place with his parent club, due to the points limit, and joins Ipswich on loan for the 2010 season.
