1992 - Started grasstrack racing.
1998 - First taste of speedway at Sittingbourne.
2009 - Danny returned to Ipswich, after spending two seasons on loan with Elite League rivals Peterborough. In his time away from the Witches, Danny significantly increased his average and is now an established top division rider. He took over as Ipswich team captain when Leigh Lanham was released mid-June and was voted 'Rider of the Year' at the end of the season. He also made an impressive debut for England in the World Team Cup event held at Peterborough, scoring 9 points.
After his signing for 2010 was announced Danny said "Last season was so enjoyable - the atmosphere in the pits was terrific and it was a real privilege to be team captain. I never had a thought in my mind about going to any other club in 2010."
2010: Appointed club captain.
