First Away Point Gained Against Coventry

The Ipswich Witches picked up their first away league point of the season tonight against the Coventry Bees. After getting in front after heat 6 and maintaining it until heat 13 an away win was looking possible. However the Bees managed to get back on level terms after Heat 14 setting up a last heat decider. Scott Nicholls was then disqualified after a clash with Edward Kennett on the first lap. Robert Miskowiak was unable to hold off Chris Harris in the re-run and the home team claimed victory and two league points.
