Kangaroo Story Is Finally Told

Have you ever wondered who painted the kangaroo on the wall in the home pits area at Foxhall? Until recently only a few people were aware of the story behind this. One of the 'painters', Terry Wright, has sent us some photos of the work in progress and details of who was involved.

Terry, Jon Cook & Mike Rooney (Jon's mechanic) decided that they wanted to put something up in the home pits to remember Billy. They approached John Earrey to ask if it was ok but he wasn’t too keen as permission would have to be sought from Spedwworth and said he would get back to them, So they got the paint together and just turned up and did it a few days later. John then arrived when they were nearly finished but pretended to miss the new wall decoration in the pits….

Design was taken from the back of a set of leathers that Billy wiore.
