Pirates Too Strong For Witches

The Poole Pirates grabbed all three league points at Wimbourne Road tonight against the Ipswich Witches. Poole took the lead with a 5-1 in heat one and the score was 24-12 after six heats. Robert Miskowiak took a tactical ride in heat 8 and with partner Dawid Stachyra managed to narrow the gap with a 2-7 heat result. Then in heat ten Miskowiak combined with Danny King to get a 2-4 and pull back to within five points of the home team. However after the interval Poole hit back with two 4-2 heat results and finished the night with a 5-1 in heat 15 to give a final result of 53-40
