Simmons Frustrated By The 2 Points

Witches Team Manager Peter Simmons was left once again frustrated by his team on Thursday night. Despite the Witches defeating the Coventry Bees, the first side to win at Foxhall in the league this season he feels the Witches should have taken all 3 points on offer and not the 2 they gained.

He commented “Once again I find myself saying we should have had more, it's beginning to sound like a broken record and getting very frustrating.  The day this team all perform to their capabilities at the same meeting we will be a match for anyone. As far as the meeting goes I was disappointed with a 5-1 reverse in heat 2 and our lads should have been able to hold on for the 5-1 in heat 14 which would have made life a lot easier in the last one. I think Dawid was a little slow for Danny but this is an aspect that we will have to work on. At this stage a win is a win but we must start picking up the extra points on offer to stay in touch with the top six.”
