Start Of Season Delayed

Due to the recent adverse weather conditions which have affected the ongoing track alterations at Foxhall Stadium it has been decided to put back the start of the Witches 2010 campaign by one week.

The club’s Press and Practice day will now be held on Tuesday March 23rd (note: this is not open to the public) with the opening home meeting, a challenge match against Lakeside Hammers, taking place two days later on Thursday March 25th.

A number of other tracks are also experiencing problems in getting their circuits into shape for the new season but with the heavy work in reshaping the Foxhall circuit hampered by the rain and snow it is felt that an early decision to postpone the start of the season by one week is in the best interests of supporters, riders and sponsors.

The first away meeting versus Lakeside goes ahead as planned on Friday March 19th, at the Purfleet Raceway.
