Witches Query Karlsson Replacement

Ipswich Speedway management team has questioned Belle Vue’s proposed use of Rory Schlein as a guest replacement for the absent Peter Karlsson in tomorrows meeting at Foxhall stadium.

Karlsson is missing from the Aces line-up in order to ride for his Polish League club in a re-arranged fixture and normally no facility would be available to cover for a Swedish rider who has absented himself to ride in Poland. On this occasion however it has been ruled that as both fixtures are rearranged matches with the Polish match date having been set first, Belle Vue have been given permission to use a guest. Rider replacement is still being used by the visitors to cover for Tobi Kroner  - this facility runs out on 28th June.

Director of Speedway Chris Louis has queried this decision with the BSPA but for the moment at least the decision stands.
