Witches Salute Armed Forces
As part of the British Speedway Promoters Association 'Support Our Troops' initiative, Ipswich Speedway is delighted to announce that the Elite League meeting, against the Belle Vue Aces, on Thursday June 24th at Foxhall Stadium will be dedicated to the Armed Forces.
Anyone who is serving in any branch of the armed forces is invited to attend the meeting completely free of charge on production of their ID card. The scheme is extended to include families of service personnel with a limit of 2 adults and 2 children per entry.
Director of Speedway, Chris Louis, says: ”We all owe a debt of gratitude to our troops and we are very pleased to play a small part in expressing the nation’s admiration and thanks for the tremendous work that they do and the sacrifices they are called on to make. We are very happy to participate in the BSPA initiative and we’re hoping to see lots of military personnel from Colchester, Honington and Wattisham or any other base on June 24th“.
